The Young and the Restless Recap: Blood Will Tell

The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, July 15 is a trip back to August 18, 2008, when Jana and Kevin’s wedding was the setting for Michael coming face to face with his long-lost dad, Devon learning that Ana is his sister, not his cousin, and Lily believing that Chloe is pregnant with Cane’s baby… which would make the fetus Jill’s grandchild.

Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Jana (Emily O’Brien) get married in a fruity, crunchy, hippie ceremony… presided over by Michael’s (Christian J. Le Blanc) deadbeat dad, River (played by that all-American Family Ties dad, Michael Gross).

Michael waits until after the wedding is over to let it rip at the man who abandoned Michael and Gloria (Judith Chapman)… to the tender mercies of Terrible Tom (Roscoe Bourne). How dare he?

The Other Family Ties

Devon (Bryton James) learns a secret – his birth mother, Yolanda (Debbie Morgan), is also Ana’s birth mother, not her aunt! The problem is, Ana doesn’t know the secret, and Tyra, who raised Ana, doesn’t want Devon blabbing. So why tell him in the first place, Tyra?

Best For the Baby

Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) lied to Cane (Daniel Goddard) about him being her unborn baby’s father. (Just think of all the gum-chewing Billy revenge we’d have been spared if that were true.) Lily (Christel Khalil) stepped aside so that Cane could marry Chloe and give the baby a family. Chloe figures she’s won!

But she hasn’t figured on Jill (Jess Walton). This is while Jill had been tricked into thinking Cane was the real Phillip she’d given birth to. That he’d been switched as an infant. And Jill doesn’t approve of the slut who got her claws into Jill’s baby boy. Wait till Jill finds out whose baby girl Chloe really is! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
