The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, October 22, 2020, is a day of blame game tag. Summer blames Kyle – and Lola – for her runaway bride act, Nate blames himself for something he and Elena both did, and Gloria blames her sons for thinking there’s something sketchy about her last-minute visit.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Summer (Hunter King) continues to act like a lunatic as first, she hides from Kyle (Michael Mealor) and spies on him, and then she just shows up, ready to tell him why he’s the reason she ran away the night before their elopement.
You see, it was because Kyle texted Lola (Sasha Calle). Then, after Summer dumped him, Kyle dared talk to Lola. He even laughed with her! This proves he doesn’t love Summer and never did! Yeah… sure… that makes total sense.
My Fault
Devon (Bryton James) tells Nate (Sean Dominic) that Elena (Brytni Sarpy) is moving out of his place. Nate advises Devon not to blame Elena for what happened. This was all Nate’s fault. Lily (Christl Khalil) echoes what Nate said. She blames him so much more than Elena!
Doesn’t Devon understand that women are weak, silly creatures who cannot be held responsible for their actions? Only men can make decisions about who to sleep with. Women have no choice but to give in. Fortunately, Devon turns out to be a feminist who doesn’t buy the poor, little Elena the victim routine.
Their Fault
Michael (Christian J. Le Blanc) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) wonder what new crime brought Gloria (Judith Chapman) to hiding out in Genoa City. She is deeply, deeply offended. This doesn’t change their minds. So she tries to show Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) instead.
Faultless
Jack (Peter Bergman) breaks up the jewel that he decided meant so much to Dina (Marla Adams) to make individual pieces for every member of his family. They agree that Dina is in heaven watching over them – with John (Jerry Douglas). The husband she dumped some 50 years ago. Who had other wives after her. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
