The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, December 2, 2021, takes advantage of Jill Foster Abbott Atkinson’s return by putting her right in the mix with Lily Winters, Billy Abbott…and Adam Newman. Plus, Mariah Copeland is twigged by her brother and her girlfriend’s new relationship, and Amanda Sinclair and Imani Benedict try to find common ground.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Lily (Christel Khalil) turned to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) for advice on Jill’s (Jess Walton) offer for Lily to run Chancellor Industries while assuring her brother that, no matter how much they disagreed over the business, she and Billy (Jason Thompson) were solid and in love.
Unfortunately, Jill couldn’t say the same when her son blasted his mother for never having any faith in him. Well, now Billy has the same to say to her. He won’t take the job she offered him! So there!
Later, Adam (Mark Grossman) taunts Billy about being a loser as Billy fumes and feels sorry for himself. Adam then hightails it over to Jill’s and tries to convince her that she’s better off selling Chance Comm to Newman Media instead of to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).
Happy Days Are Here Again
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) negotiate over the details of their new law practice and celebrate sisterhood. Amanda goes home to continue celebrating with Devon, but then they get a phone call from Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), announcing that Abby is on her way home to her baby.
Three’s a Crowd
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) doesn’t get any more out of Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) about his lost London love, so the subject switches to the album cover he’s going to design for Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). As the two collaborators make exciting plans, Mariah suddenly feels left out. And suspicious.
