The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, July 28, 2020 features an oldie but a goodie from April 2, 2004. It’s the day after April Fool’s, but Nikki and Ashley are still about to be played by a tiny little moppet, while Lauren may think she’s playing Michael, but when he tells her a secret, it becomes difficult to tell who is really in charge of the situation.

The Young and the Restless Recap: My Two Dads

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) initially didn’t want Victor (Eric Braeden) to know she’s stolen his sperm and conceived little Abby. Brad (Don Diamont) knew the truth but agreed to stay up and play Daddy. Ashley was happy. Until she wasn’t.

Now, Ashley wants to tell Victor the truth. Despite Olivia (Tonya Lee Wilkins) trying to talk her out of it. No, actually, Ashley has agreed to let Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tell Victor the truth. She’s his wife, after all. Who else should tell a man he’s a father again – by another woman?

Knowing what Ashley intends to do, Brad tries to get Victor prepped for the big news and promises that he’ll do what’s best for Ashley – no matter what. While shirtless. Because… well, it’s Brad. Victor, on the other hand, wears a jacket. Just what is the temperature where they are?

But – surprise – little Abby beats everyone to the punch and breaks the big news to Victor. She has as much concern for Brad’s feelings as her mother does.

Fire Starter

Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) is defending Kevin (Greg Rikaart) against charges that he started the fire that burned Brittany (Lauren Woodland).

Lauren (Tracey Bregman) paid Kevin’s bail, hoping that his obsession with her will prompt Kevin to make a confession. But when he confesses something she didn’t expect, Lauren suddenly decides to protect him. And even lie to Paul (Doug Davidson). The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
