The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, February 25 celebrates Abby finally making up her mind, Amanda finally demanding real answers from Naya, and Nick finally putting his foot down with Faith.

The Young and the Restless Recap: Full Speed Ahead

Everyone wants to help Abby (Melissa Ordway) have a baby! Mariah (Camryn Grimes) offered up her uterus! Devon (Bryton James) offered up his sperm! Nina (Tricia Cast) offered up her support! Abby magnanimously accepted letting them all do this for her, but here is how it’s going to work: Her way.

She says they will each need their own lawyers. But Abby and Nina are happy to pick up the tab. Yup, that will really ensure an independent process!

Later, Amanda asks Devon how he sees this arrangement working out since Abby wants him to stick around and play Uncle Devon, to a baby that will be biracial but raised by two white parents. (Technically, he or she will be three-fourths white, so let’s go with… multiracial.)

Tell Me All About It

Naya asks Amanda (Mishael Morgan) to tell her about her childhood. Amanda does and blames Naya for all of her hardships. Naya wishes she could have been there for her. Amanda points out that she could have been – but she wasn’t. And throwing money at the problem isn’t going to fix it. Their conversation is cut short by Imani calling and Naya running off to tend to the daughter she didn’t give up at birth.

Bully Pulpit

Sharon (Sharon Case) is OK that Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) wants to go live with Nick (Joshua Morrow), but Nick isn’t going to be a pushover. He tells Faith that he needs to know the names of the kids who are bullying her, and he’s getting her a new phone with a new number. Faith throws her usual fit about being misunderstood but understands that she has no choice in the matter.

She perks up when Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) offers her a spa day. Phyllis and Nick recall how, back in the day, Summer was the bully. Parenting is fun! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
