The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, June 30 finally allows Amanda Sinclair to let loose on Sutton Ames, even as he blindsides her with a shocking request. Plus, Billy Abbott thinks he and Victor Newman have something in common – and so do he and Tara Locke.
The Young and the Restless Recap
When Sutton (Jack Landron) tries to make Amanda (Mishael Morgan) feel guilty about Naya (Ptosha Storey) confessing to Richard’s murder, she fires back that Sutton is the one who should feel guilty. After all, his daughter is taking the blame for a death Amanda knows Sutton caused.
He denies, then goes on to wax poetic about how sad Naya was after she gave up her babies. Amanda wonders if they plan to use that as her defense. Sutton denies – and tells Amanda he forgives her for saying so. And asks Amanda to defend her long-lost mother. A fed-up Amanda storms off. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) reminds her that’s what she wanted to do. She did. But on her own terms.
Y&R Recap: Enemy of My Enemy
Billy (Jason Thompson) tries to create a rapport with Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) by mentioning how her soon-to-be ex-husband, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), is hanging out with Billy’s ex-wife, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Tara pretends to be open to talking to him about her divorce. Later, she tells Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that she’s only doing it to promote her shoe line.
The Young and the Restless: Next Up
Ashland and Victoria are growing closer. Professionally. They negotiate who will sell what part of their own companies so the two can merge. Ashland asks Victoria to dinner. She says no. He starts coughing. Coughing is a sign of imminent death, right?
Billy suggests he and Victor (Eric Braeden) team up to keep Victoria from Ashland. Nah, Victor says, I like the guy. He reminds me of a young… me. That’s the best kind of man, you got that?!
