The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, November 8, 2021, discovers Abby Chancellor primed to go looking for her missing husband, Lily Winters primed to protect her business interests, and the Newmans primed to take her and Billy Abbott down.
Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) told Abby (Melissa Ordway) that her husband, Chance, is dead. Uh-ha, Abby said, I’m going to go to Spain and look for him! Chance’s mom, Nina (Tricia Cast) was on board, but Christine kept insisting that Chance was dead, and Nina, eventually, took her word for it.
Abby, on the other hand, was damning the torpedoes and full speeding ahead. Hey, do Nina or Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) want to go with her? Devon very gently tries to talk her down. When she doesn’t listen, he gets less gentle. Abby throws a rich girl tantrum. But I want to!!!! Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is the only one who remembers Dominic in all this.
Lily (Christel Khalil) went to Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) to discuss the Newmans’ plan to destroy Billy (Jason Thompson). Victoria isn’t interested in discussing it.
Lily goes to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), who is equally blasé about what the big plan is. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) confronts her stepson and warns him not to stress out Victoria and a dying Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). Why she isn’t dressing down the instigator of the plan, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), is unclear.
Billy, in the meantime, is feeling pretty smug. He got Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) to hand over the letter incriminating Ashland in stealing his benefactor’s estate. He goes running to Adam, thinking this is checkmate. Why do we suspect not?
Meanwhile, Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is telling Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to quit flirting with Adam. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) won’t like it.
