The Young and the Restless recap for November 18-22, 2019, features Jill kinda, sorta getting answers from Colin, Billy making a big decision, Kyle getting passed over and Phyllis being accused of something she defiantly did.
Jill (Jess Walton) tracked down her slimeball ex and reluctantly sipped champagne with him while he explained that the new pages to Katherine’s will were on the up and up. Jill remained unsure if Colin (Tristan Rogers) was being sincere so she delivered a smack to his kisser than made up for it with a passionate smooch.
Billy (Jason Thompson) had quite the epiphany this week that he then shared with big brother Jack (Peter Bergman). “Being the CEO of a beauty and fashion company is not what I want in my life anymore. So, I resign. Effective immediately.”
That was initially music to Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) ears but then Jack pulled the rug out from under his son. He is getting demoted to co-COO alongside Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) and Jack is stepping (back) into the top spot. Hide your desk chairs and make sure the windows are reinforced plexiglass.
Furthermore, Summer (Hunter King) is getting a promotion, which means her position is getting filled by…Theo (Tyler Johnson)! That’s right, Ashely (Eileen Davidson) can’t ever have nice things. Jack is just so…selfish that way.
Chance (Donny Boaz) discovered (or, at least, seemed to discover) that someone had initiated a back door into The Grand Phoenix’s security system that would give him/her access to all wifi devices inside the hotel.
And, of course, Abby (Melissa Ordway) blamed Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Sure, she absolutely DID do it but can’t ol’ Red ever catch a break?
Thank goodness that she can still let loose and play cellphone games with her favorite ex-husband ever, Nick (Joshua Morrow). He’s defiantly still on her side. Especially given the fact that he and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) were seemingly headed for splitsville.
The man dropped out of the City Council race for the love of his woman and threatened the imprisoned baddie that held her hostage (and put a tail outside their apartment).
And all she could do to say thank you is to spend every waking moment at Adam’s (Mark Grossman) tending to Connor and getting sucked into her exes orbit — that’s gratitude for you. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
