The General Hospital recap for November 18-22, 2019, features a verdict in Sam’s joke of a trial, Alexis getting a diagnosis, and Nina revealing her revenge scheme to Jax.
General Hospital Weekly Recap Highlights
Inside the storied halls of the Port Charles Courthouse, justice truly is blind. And dumb. How else to explain the fact that Sam (Kelly Monaco) was found guilty of manslaughter for shooting Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) with a flare gun?
And her sentence? Two years in prison. Sure, the judge said she would try to get the parole board to let Sam off early but what are the chances of that really happening?
Over at the Q house, things got more complicated when Dante sent Olivia back all her letters and Brook Lynn returned home.
Any and All Enemies
Never underestimate the power of noisiness. Thanks to TJ (Tajh Bellow) overhearing Julian (William deVry) talking to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about dead rats, he led the charge that discovered the legal eagle was being poisoned with Thallium, a substance in rat poison that had been banned for years.
Alexis couldn’t understand how in the world she would come in contact with the toxic material and Finn (Michael Easton) cautioned that he believed she was dosed deliberately. He asked if she had any enemies who would want to see her dead but Alexis could only think of Helena who, fingers crossed is actually in the great beyond this time.
Best Laid Plans
Nina (Cynthia Watros) surprised the hell out of Jax when she revealed that she had been planning to dump Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) at the altar during their next wedding ceremony.
However, she is now waffling because she isn’t sure she can separate father and daughter. A reading of Little Women between the three back at Wyndemere left her even more confused than ever. Those girls really missed their father and she is sure Charlotte would too.
GH Weekly Musing
Is it certainly safe to assume that Alex Devane, whom Anna (Finola Hughes) referred to as a dilettante flighting from paycheck to paycheck in exotic locales like Paris, Singapore and Dubai is in no way, shape, or form the Alex Devane we first met all those years ago on All My Children? General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
