On The Young and the Restless, Devon was once married to the most wonderful, kindest, most generous, saintliest woman who ever lived. According to him. All those terrible things she did previously to Devon’s friends and family… and to him… forgotten!
Devon (Bryton James) knew he could never find a woman even half her equal, and he certainly would never fall in love again. Oh, hey, Elena (Brytni Sarpy) showed up at his door. She’ll do. But is she the right woman for him? And if she isn’t, who is? What over 3,000 voters decided:
A winning 77% of the audience is all in on Devon and Elena. DElena? Elevon? DevEl? She’s an ideal match for him. She misses her mom… he misses his dad… He likes music… She likes music… They both drink coffee….
So she doesn’t make life as exciting as Hilary (Mishael Morgan) did. Maybe Devon has had enough excitement. He likes calm and peaceful… and completely freaked out by the possibility that Devon might leave her for Hilary’s long-lost twin.
Said long-lost twin is Amanda (also Mishael Morgan, hence the resemblance), and 12% of you think Elena should be worried. It’s not only that Amanda looks like Hilary, but it’s also that she has Hilary’s spark. She can remind Devon of all the fire of Devon and Hilary’s relationship. How will Elena compete with that?
A slightly smaller 11% has no interest in either of the above woman. You want the real thing – you want Hilary. So she’s presumed dead, so what. Do you know how many times that’s happened to Victor (Eric Braeden)? Adam (Mark Grossman)? Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson)? Nick (Joshua Morrow)?
