Brace yourself, The Young and the Restless fans. If the show decides to pair Billy (Jason Thompson) up with his new business partner, Lily (Christel Khalil), there will be rhyming.

Don’t Go Rushing Into Anything Willy Nilly

The reception was chilly for Billy and Lily as 63% of you voted ‘absolutely not’ to the idea of these two pairing up. For one thing, it would seem like just petty revenge for that time Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) kissed. For another, it would put Lily back in Jill’s (Jess Walton) orbit. Not that Lily dislikes the woman, but Jill has made it pretty clear she’s team Lane.

This pair can’t even work together without getting into an argument after every commercial break. A romantic pairing would only be more of the same. Their road to happiness would be hilly. This idea goes down like a bad pill-y.

Tilly There Was You

Only 37% of the audience is thrilly-ed beyond belief at the possibility of this pairing. Why not? Neither has anything better to do? Lily is a pretty filly and Billy is filled to the gilly with his own self-importance. So as long as she goes along with it, there’ll be no need for them to kill-y each other. Nobody has to be the villy-an, and there’ll be no need for a willy they or won’t they?

So if you can put up with the puns, this doesn’t seem like such a bad idea. (Don’t forget Jilly!) We can at least give it a shot and see what happens.
