When The Young and the Restless fans first met Lola, she was a level-headed, serious, ambitious, and sensible young woman (except for that purse incident).
The Young and the Restless Polling
A quickie marriage – and even quicker divorce – to and from Kyle (Michael Mealor) and suddenly she’s short-tempered, impatient, and mean to perfectly innocent food. Has Lola (Sasha Calle) gone too far in the other direction? What over 1,000 fans think:
Chill-ee Powder
Chillax, girl, 58% of you are urging. So Theo (Tyler Johnson) didn’t return your text right away. So he stayed late at the office. So his food got cold. You can always reheat it. This is no reason to lose your cool. We understand that Kyle is a bastard. We understand that watching him hang all over Summer (Hunter King) before your divorce is even final makes you want to hit something.
So grab that meat cleaver and pour your frustrations into food – think Like Water for Chocolate. You are better than they are. And Theo doesn’t deserve to pay for some other dude’s screw up. Kyle isn’t worth losing control over. He isn’t worth losing sleep over. Forget he exists. Remember, living well is the best revenge.
Just Cause
A smaller 42% of the audience thinks Lola is absolutely justified in blowing up whenever she fees like it. She was a good girl. She worked hard, she followed the rules. And she believed Kyle when he said he loved her. Kyle betrayed her and walked away with a shrug. Oh, you know, it’s just one of those things, no one is to blame.
You’re to blame, Kyle. And Lola has every right to blame you. If she wants to spread some of that fury around, that’s her prerogative. Nobody likes a goody-goody and, frankly, Lola is more interesting this way. Come to the dark side, Lola. It’s more fun here. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
