The Young and the Restless News Update: Doug Davidson Shares BTS Stories

While The Young and the Restless has been showing classic episodes ever since it ran out of fresh content due to the coronavirus pandemic shutdown, that doesn’t mean we can’t take a fresh look at these old episodes. Doug Davidson (Paul) is helping to do just that by letting us in on some fun backstage tidbits.

The actor has recorded some behind-the-scenes memories to share on social media — and they are chock full of interesting information for longtime viewers who may want to know more about what was happening when they were shooting these episodes. He recently put up the third installment.

While this one does delve into the story, he first takes the opportunity to update fans a little bit on the two actors he shared the screen with during this time period — Nina Arvesen, the stunning beauty who played Cassandra, as well as Jonathan Farwell, who played the very regal George Rawlins.

Davidson reveals that in real life, Farwell was apparently very similar to the role he played. He shares a vocabulary word he learned from him and has now incorporated into his everyday life. He also shares some of the backstory about Arvesen’s upbringing, as well as some of her other acting endeavors, and what happened to her career.
