Melissa Ordway The Young and the Restless
Fans of Abby on The Young and the Restless are waiting for the show to return with new episodes, but in the meantime, her portrayer, Melissa Ordway, can be seen in a new TV-movie, set to debut this weekend!
The actress appears in a Lifetime thriller. “Tune in alert!!! 🚨,” Ordway posted on her Instagram account. “I had the incredible opportunity to be a part of this film and it is airing on Lifetime this Saturday at 8pm!!! My character in Stalked by My Husband’s Ex may or may not be having a difficult night in this pic…. 🤕 @lifetimetv.”
The film stars Alex McKenna (Dallas; Crossing Jordan), Adam Huss (ex-Lance, The Bold and the Beautiful; Power), and Juliana Dever (Castle).
Here is a description of the flick, according to Lifetime: “After accepting his proposal, hospitality queen Kristen Carter (McKenna) couldn’t be more excited to marry Ryan Munson (Huss) and to become a mother to his 10-year-old daughter, Lisa (Joey Rae Blair). But, when strange and deadly things start to happen around her, Kristen starts to worry whether she’ll ever see her wedding day at all.” Dever plays Nina, Ryan’s ex-wife. Ordway plays Kristen’s pal, Sierra.
Melissa Ordway joined YR in 2013 as the daughter of Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Currently, Abby is in a new relationship with Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV (Donny Boaz). Her other credits include the series Hollywood Heights, Cold Case, CSI: NY, Entourage, The League, and How I Met Your Mother. She also appeared as Sydney Price on 90210, and on Melrose Place as Morgan McKellan.
Stalked by My Husband’s Ex airs on Saturday, July 25 at 8 pm ET on Lifetime. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
