The week of March 5, 2018
Michael Mealor has been cast as Kyle Abbott, Jack’s (Peter Bergman) son by the late Diane. The character, previously played by Lachlan Buchanan, was last seen in 2016. Look for Mealor to make his debut in the role later this month.
Melissa Ordway is finally back in Genoa City as Abby Newman on Thursday, March 8. The character had been off working in Newman’s corporate office in Paris, while Ordway was off on maternity leave.
A slew of yesteryear’s stars will be on hand the week of Y&R’s 45th anniversary, later this month. Slated to return are Jaime Lyn Bauer (Lorie Brooks), Janice Lynde (Leslie Brooks), Meg Bennett (Julia Newman), Lauren Woodland (Brittany Hodges), David Lago (Raul Guittierez), and Kelly Kruger (Mackenzie Browning).
Jess Walton is also expected to be back as Jill in time for the milestone celebration. The actress had been taking some time off.
