Who’s coming and who’s going from The Young and the Restless?
Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles?
Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join The Young and the Restless fold in surprise new parts?
Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.
The week of December 3, 2018
Zach Tinker makes his daytime debut as Fen Baldwin, Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Michael’s (Christian LeBlanc) son on Monday, December 3.
He replaces Max Ehrich, who played the character from 2012 to 2015, but was unable to return to the soap. Tinker’s previous credits include the role of Craig Cignarelli in the 2017 mini-series Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders.
Meanwhile, Alyvia Alyn Lind, who plays Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) daughter, Faith Newman, was cast in the Netflix drama Daybreak.
However, the move shouldn’t affect Lind’s status with Y&R, since the young actress recurs on the soap.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
