 Comments

Who’s coming and who’s going from The Young and the Restless (YR)?

Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future? Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join The Young and the Restless fold in surprise new parts?

Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.

The week of June 12, 2017

Elizabeth Hendrickson taped her wrap up scenes as Chloe Mitchell on June 7. The actress shared the news on Twitter, along with a picture of herself and leading man Greg Rikaart (Kevin). “My last day at Y&R…. for now. What I will miss most is my Greg and his super cute face early in the morning,” tweeted Hendrickson.

Ron Melendez is back as Dr. Harris, this week,  in scenes with the above mentioned Hendrickson and Rikaart.

Here comes the judge. Doug Spearman appears as Judge Hazen on Tuesday, June 13 and Wednesday, June 14. The actor played Chance on the 2005-2006 primetime series, Noah’s Arc, and Neal Kelly on Old Dogs & New Tricks (2013).
