Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join The Young and the Restless fold in surprise new parts?

Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.
The week of July 31, 2017
Rumor has it that Greg Rikaart (ex-Kevin) has been contacted by Y&R brass about a return. Rikaart, who played Michael’s (Christian LeBlanc) younger brother for 14 years, was dropped to recurring status in May and was recently written off the show with Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe).
Another Big Brother contestant is heading to Genoa City. Look for Jessie Godderz to make an appearance on Friday, August 4.
He’s playing a security guard and will share scenes with Robert Adamson (Noah) and Cait Fairbanks (Tess) at a music festival. Wrestling fans might recognize Godderz, too. He’s known as Mr. Pec-Tacular and competed in Impact Wrestling.
Ben Hermes returns for another stint as businessman Benjamin Hochman beginning Thursday, August 3.
The character previously nixed an investment deal with Lauren (Tracey Bregman), after being swayed by Gloria (Judith Chapman), and had an unsuccessful dinner with Ashley (Eileen Davidson). This time around he’s having a meeting with Amelia Heinle’s Victoria.
Morgan Obenreder appears as Crystal on Monday, July 31.
Terrell Clayton portrays Dean on Thursday, August 3.
