Fan favorite Mishael Morgan pops back in as Amanda Sinclair, this week. The character will play a key role in Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) and Lily Winters’s (Christel Khalil) fight over Chancellor-Winters, as Lily has hired Amanda to represent her in court. 

Amanda first arrived in Genoa City back in 2019. Her appearance shocked residents due to her looking exactly like the very divisive Hilary Curtis, Devon’s late wife. It was eventually revealed that she was Hilary’s twin. This sent Amanda on a quest to discover her origins and she tracked down her birth mother, Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey), and discovered she had a half-sister named Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose)as well.

In 2022, Morgan made Daytime Emmy history by being the first black woman to take home the golden statuette for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Later that year she announced that although she would remain a cast member of the daytime drama she would drop to recurring status. She recently appeared in three episodes of Chicago Med as Dr. Petra Dupree.
