Who’s coming and who’s going from The Young and the Restless?
Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles?
Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join The Young and the Restless fold in surprise new parts?
Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.
The week of September 10, 2018
Jess Walton will soon be heading back to town as the incorrigible Jill Abbott. Walton, who’s on recurring status with the soap, is set to resurface later this month.
There’s no word yet as to whether or not Tristan Rogers, who plays her husband Colin Atkinson, will be joining her. However, Rogers is free to switch gears and don his Genoa City cap, since he’s currently off the General Hospital canvas as super sleuth Robert Scorpio.
Lauren Woodland returns for another stint as Brittany Hodges beginning Wednesday, September 12. The attorney is once again resurfacing in town to help an old friend who is in a legal bind. Woodland will air for a few episodes.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
