The week of May 24, 2021
The doctor’s back in the house. Michael Bofshever logs in another appearance as the trusty Dr. Hedges on Tuesday, May 25. The character is part of the team tending to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), who’s been committed to a mental health facility.

Maite Garcia is set to air as Elizabeth Westerbrook on Monday, May 24. The actress’s credits include guest spots on Jane the Virgin and Get Spy. She also had a trio of appearances on The Bold and the Beautiful as a caterer.

The Young and the Restless History

YR made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Rey Rosales’s (Jordi Vilasuso) heroism to the adorable love story of Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Hunter King), YR knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.
