Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join The Young and the Restless fold in surprise new parts?
Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.
The week of May 7, 2018
Lauren Woodland and Kelly Kruger, who reprised their roles of Brittany Hodges and Mackenzie Browning Hellstrom for the soap’s 45th anniversary, are both heading back to Genoa City.
This time, the two actresses will appear in a major storyline arc for an indefinite run, revolving around a high-profile legal case. Woodland’s Brittany, who’s now an attorney, will take on a major role. Look for the duo to begin airing next month.
Erika Girardi (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) is slated to make a couple of appearances as real estate agent Farrah Dubose in June. Girardi was last on the show in April 2017.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
