It’s been an emotional and trying week for The Young and the Restless star Tracy Bregman as she’s coped with two big losses in her life.
The actress took to Instagram to share her heartbreak over the loss of her relationship, and her horse, Butter, who has had health problems since a tragic miscarriage.
But, Bregman, who has played Lauren on Y&R since 1983, is taking the losses in stride and reflecting on life and how to go on.
“It has been an interesting week of heartbreak and introspection. My relationship broke up and then my beloved mini horse, Butter, who never recovered from her miscarriage, passed away days later,” Bregman wrote.

“We all try to put one foot in front of the other and put on a happy face but that is not always the case underneath. Be kind to ourselves and to others and know that so many people are walking around with broken hearts that we would never know about,” she continued.
