Who’s coming and who’s going from The Young and the Restless (YR)?
Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join The Young and the Restless fold in surprise new parts?
Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.
The week of March 12, 2018
A popular leading man will soon be returning to the fold. Kristoff St. John, who por-trays Winters family patriarch Neil, is reporting back to work at the show’s studios, this week. The daytime vet has been off the canvas since October 2017, while he was tending to his mental health issues.
Neil’s absence was quickly explained onscreen, when it was noted that he was called off to New York to help his ex, Sofia, who was recovering from a car accident, by taking care of their son, Moses.
Look for St. John’s scenes to begin airing April.
