Who’s coming and who’s going from The Young and the Restless (YR)?

Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join The Young and the Restless fold in surprise new parts?

Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.

The week of February 19, 2018
Greg Rikaart returns for another run as Kevin Fisher, starting Tuesday, February 20. Look for the character to be on the canvas for multiple episodes.

Melissa Ordway reports that “Abby is baaack” via an Instagram post. Back on set, that is. The actress, who gave birth to a daughter, Sophie, on December 9, and has been off on maternity leave, resumed taping scenes as Abby Newman the first week in February. During Ordway’s leave, Abby has been in Europe on a business trip.

Damion Poitier pops up as Byron again. Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) new “friend” airs on Tuesday, February 20.

Robert Adamson has departed as Noah Newman. His character left town to take on a new job at an overseas branch of Newman Enterprises.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
