The Rosales family is getting a new member. Eva La Rue is joining the soap as the clan’s matriarch, Celeste, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Lola’s (Sasha Calle) mother. Her character is set to debut next month.

La Rue is best known to daytime audiences for her role as Maria on All My Children, which she played from 1993 to 1997, 2002 to 2005, 2010 and 2011. She also starred as Natalia on CSI: Miami.

Mark Taylor portrays Detective Eddie North on Monday, May 20. Kristin Carey appears as Claire Smith on Tuesday, May 21. The actress may look familiar to soap fans. She played Dr. Dottie Prewitt on Passions in 2005.

Speaking of the Rosales clan, Jason Canela and Noemi Gonzalez wrap up their runs as Arturo Rosales and Mia Rosales, respectively.
