Who’s coming and who’s going from The Young and the Restless? Are any of your favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the not-too-far-off future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring, or day-player roles? Are any well-remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join The Young and the Restless fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.
Beth Maitland is back on set filming scenes as Traci Abbott. The actress shared the news on Instagram and Facebook the night before she reported back to work, noting “Packing my bags and buckling up for Genoa City tomorrow.” Look for the sage Abbott sibling to begin airing again in a few weeks.
Meanwhile, Jess Walton, whose Jill Abbott has been off the canvas investigating Mamie Johnson’s (Veronica Redd) ties to Chancellor-Winters, returns to the screen this week. She’ll share scenes with Trevor St. John’s Tucker McCall on Thursday, November 16.
Tricia Cast continues her visit as Nina Webster. She’ll share key scenes with her TV son, Conner Floyd’s Chance Chancellor, as he recovers from a gunshot wound.
