But for the last few years, the tables have turned, and it’s all about Adam (Mark Grossman). He seems to have his finger in more than a fair share of storylines. The big question is… why? Why does the Genoa City world need to revolve around Adam?

Not only is Adam keeping a paralyzed Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) away from her friends and exes – which is driving her to plot revenge (he’s even starring in her fantasies) – but he is also the major obstacle in Sharon (Sharon Case) and Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) marriage.They have to go to therapy so they can talk about him not just amongst themselves but with a third party!

Meanwhile, whenever Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) wants to excuse her bad choices and bratty behavior of late, she breaks into tears about how the publicity that reminded everyone that Adam kidnapped Faith as a baby has left her so, so unsettled.

Oh, and that photo of Adam kissing Sharon! How is Faith supposed to NOT hit the vodka bottle after such a trauma to her delicate psyche?

At the same time, Victor can’t give up on Adam. Even after Nikki asked him to. And Adam himself signed papers withdrawing himself from the Newman family.
