Bold Moves
Itching for a fight, Adam (Mark Grossman) fired the first proverbial shot by filing a petition for full parental custody of Cristian and Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) was served with the court papers.
He shared the news with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Sharon (Sharon Case) and the latter stormed the tack house and informed Adam that he was turning into a monster whom she no longer recognized.
Losses-Cut
Nikki told Victor (Eric Braeden) of Adam’s latest move and Victor was greatly wounded that Nicholas did not tell him the news himself.
Nikki pointed out that Nicholas was probably concerned that Victor would take Adam’s side as he frequently chooses his youngest son even to the determent of his other children.
Victor made a beeline for Adam’s and confronted his unrepentant offspring. Disgusted with Adam — and finally seeing the error of his ways — Victor ordered him off the ranch and told him that he now accepted his desire to be treated as an outsider.
Heir Apparent
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was summoned to Victor’s office and stunned when he told her that he was taking a sabbatical from work to focus exclusively on his health. She was even more shocked when he placed her in charge of the company. He even admitted he should have done it long ago rather than offer the position to Adam.
Guilty Conscience
Devon (Bryton James) spent hours leading to Society dedicating the stage in Neil’s memory by insulting Ana’s (Loren Lott) work and insinuating he needed to hire someone to teach her the job.
