On The Young and the Restless, Nate Hastings thought he knew all about playing politics, after having been Chief of Surgery at the hospital. He made schedules, he managed his girlfriend, he presumably told interns to behave.

But that was nothing compared to the snake pit that is corporate life. Things aren’t going smoothly for our Nate. And he’s getting lots of conflicting advice about how to handle it. Whom should Nate listen to? And whom should he ignore?

Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) has even less corporate experience than Nate. She’s always worked in the medical field. Yet 74% of you still would prefer Nate (Sean Christian) listen to her advice over anyone else’s. Not because she’s necessarily right, but because they’re a couple. And Nate’s nights will be a lot less lonely if he does what Elena says he should do.

Nate shouldn’t listen to anyone, 22% of the audience dismisses as confidently as Nate dismissed Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Why are his decisions, made after a hot minute in the business world, worth any less than the ones made by people who have been doing it for decades – and who own enough of the company to actually be hurt by matters going south? If there is one thing we’ve learned over the past two years it’s that experts can never agree on anything, so anyone’s off-the-street opinion is as valid as anyone else’s.
