The Young and the Restless Lisa Guerrero
On The Young and the Restless, Daniel Hall’s character, Scott Grainger, is used to conducting interviews. Now, he’s going to be interviewed by a reporter — one played by a former actress on a now defunct NBC soap!
Lisa Guerrero, who played scheming Francesca Vargas on Sunset Beach, has been tapped to play Kerry Forrest, a news anchor who will talk to Scott, according to Soap Opear Digest.
Currently, Guerrero serves as a correspondent for Inside Edition. In a bit of synergy, the news magazine show will feature a behind-the-scenes segment on Y&R in an upcoming broadcast.
Guerrero landed other acting roles a while back on series like The George Lopez Show, Frasier, and In The Heat of the Night. She took advantage of broadcasting opportunities by becoming a sports anchor in Los Angeles.
That led to a one-year gig as a sideline reporter for ABC’s Monday Night Football. In 2006, Guerrero joined Inside Edition. She is wed to former professional baseball player Scott Erickson.
