Will Sully Cause Sharon To Crack Once Again?

Sharon is keeping a whopper of a secret from her husband, Dylan, about “their little boy,” Sully, on The Young and the Restless.

Lying is never easy, but when the lie is as huge as the one Sharon (Sharon Case) is telling, it’s downright onerous. She knows young Sully is actually Christian, the biological child of the late Sage (Kelly Sullivan), but continues to let Dylan believe the boy is theirs. Meanwhile, the pressure and guilt over keeping the secret continues to mount on Sharon. Soap Hub asked if you thought the stress of it all would make Sharon once again crack.

Ready to Snap
Nearly 6,000 people responded, and 92% of you believe it’s just a matter of time before Sharon snaps. Keeping a secret of this magnitude would weigh on anyone, but for someone as mentally fragile Sharon, it’s even more difficult. She’s had breakdowns before and spent time in a mental hospital, and you think this situation will ultimately end up sending her back to Fairview, which is where she ended up with Sully in the first place.

Cool, Calm and Collected
A small 5% of you believe Sharon’s actually got her act together. She’s focused on protecting Dylan (Steve Burton) from the prospect of losing another child and that’s what’s driving her to keep this enormous secret. Having Mariah by her side as a confidant also helps, as she has someone to talk to when the going gets tough.

Hard to Call
It’s hard for 3% of fans to contemplate how the stress of the Sully secret will ultimately affect Sharon. Some days, keeping it seems completely easy and natural for her. Other days, Sharon seems incredibly torn over the whole complicated scenario.
