State of the Art: Should Nikki Tell Abby ALL About Arturo on The Young and the Restless (YR)?

Dating is often a family affair on The Young and the Restless (YR). Going back to the show’s early days, the Brooks sisters, Lori and Leslie, flitted between brothers Lance and Lucas for years.

Ashley (Eileen Davidson), her sister, Traci (Beth Maitland) and Ashley’s stepdaughter, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), were all married to Brad (Don Diamont).

Brothers Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Adam shared Sharon (Sharon Case) and Sage, while Sharon also hooked up with Nick’s other brother, Dylan (Steve Burton).

Now, Abby (Melissa Ordway) appears headed for a dalliance, at the very least, with Arturo (Jason Canela), last seen as her stepmother, Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott), boy toy on the side.

Abby has not had an easy time with relationships. Her last boyfriend tried to kill her after it turned out he was running an online prostitution ring. And she ended up locked in a storage locker with Scott (Daniel Hall), a hook up that ultimately went nowhere.

Abby’s last marriage ended over Stitch’s bratty kid – but the fact that Stitch still had feelings for Ashley didn’t help.

So, yes, 76% of the audience hopes Nikki tells Abby everything.

What Abby Doesn’t Know…
If Arturo wants to tell Abby, that’s his business, 23% of you decree. But Nikki should stay out of it. Abby won’t appreciate hearing the news. Besides, once Victor (Eric Braeden) finds out, you know he’ll do whatever he feels he needs to in order to ‘protect’ Abby and get her out of Arturo’s orbit.

Arturo will either get a fantastic job opportunity out of town… or a threat that sends him running without so much as a goodbye. So, Nikki can sit back and relax. Victor’s got this.
