Y&R spoilers have been teasing the wedding of the century between Ashland Locke and Victoria Newman for a while now, but we know something shocking is bound to happen — but could it have nothing to do with the couple at the altar? Might a shocking new couple arise while overseas?

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) made no bones about his lingering feelings for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). He’s expressed he still loves her, and while Phyllis never said she feels the same, it’s obvious she’s flattered.
Sure, Phyllis and Jack both let Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) in on the details, and he seems fine. However, if Jack and Phyllis find themselves thrown together alone in Italy, who knows what could happen? These two seem headed towards a possible reunion, which leaves Nick out in the cold.
Billy Abbott’s Obsession
Meanwhile, Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) obsession with stopping Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) wedding could cause a snag with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). So far, she’s on board with her beau’s machinations, but Lily could quickly lose patience. It seems like Billy plans to stop at nothing to bring down Ashland (Richard Burgi). There’s only so much Lily can take, and if Billy wins this game, he might lose his girlfriend in the process.

Y&R Spoilers: An Unlikely Pairing
If both Nick and Lily find themselves alone and handling bombshell breakups in Italy, they might find their way together. We can picture it now. Billy manages to stop Vicky’s wedding, and he’s consoling his ex-wife, leaving Lily out in the cold.
A newly heartbroken Lily walks into an Italian bar where Nick is drinking away his sorrows after catching Jack and Phyllis kissing. The two end up sharing a drink and toast each other. Before the evening ends, they find themselves in a hotel room together, creating something brand new. Stranger things have and will happen in Genoa City…or abroad.
