Victor and Elena may have something to do with Sally's loss.
Sally was told her sweet baby girl didn’t make it, but is that a lie? Y&R spoilers tease some more drama coming Sally’s way. While some believe that has to do with Nick offering Sally his home, we think it has to do with little Ava Hope. Is there some fakery going on?
Adam (Mark Grossman) didn’t get to see the baby after her birth and untimely passing. As for Sally (Courtney Hope), she pressed the call button and asked to see her, but did she really end up following through? Elena (Brytni Sarpy) had a bedside manner with both parents that was…lacking. She didn’t exactly exude warmth.
Is there a reason for her cool demeanor? Does she know something we don’t? Does she have the baby? We want answers! In our quest for the truth, we think we’ve figured it out.
We predict Elena took the baby the second the surgeon took out Ava. (Where is the surgeon, anyway? Why haven’t they checked on their patient? Weird, right?) Elena whisked the baby away and let everyone in the room think they lost the little one. But, instead, she merely kept the baby from crying until she was out of sight.
Once she had the baby in her arms, safe and sound, she called Victor (Eric Braeden). “I have your grandchild.” She then placed the baby in a warm place for safekeeping and has tended to the baby nearly around the clock ever since.
But why? Well, because that’s how Victor wants it, of course. He’s made no secret of how he’s felt about Sally’s pregnancy connecting her to his son while dating the other. He even tried to pay her to go away. When she wouldn’t, he bribed Elena and hatched this plan, and the opportune moment presented itself with Sally’s pregnancy complications.
How could Elena do such a thing? Her life is a mess right now, so it should come as no surprise she’d snap. She wasn’t just promised money, Victor promised to make Nate (Sean Dominic) pay for betraying her. The offer was simply too sweet to resist.
What now, though? While hiding a baby sounds easy enough for a day or two…maybe even a month, they’ll have to do something with the little one. Will they put the babe up for adoption? Will Elena fall in love with Ava and want her for herself? Either way, this secret will explode one day when the truth comes out, and that will not be pretty.
