Since news broke that Jordi Vilasuso would be leaving his role as Rey Rosales on The Young and the Restless, fans have speculated about how the character might exit. Sure, getting killed while on a stakeout with Chance Chancellor — because the traumatized vet might not be as ready to come back to work as he thinks he is — is the obvious choice. However, we’d like Y&R spoilers to reveal something a bit more dramatic.
Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Who’s That Woman?
Rey has been spending a lot of time with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) lately. That may seem strange, what with her having poisoned him and framed Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for the crime of attempted murder. Rey may have survived, and you’d think he’d want to keep his distance from the psycho.
Nah. Rey was so concerned that Chelsea might be separated from her precious baby boy, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) for even a moment, that he took time away from his own new bride, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), to go out of town with Chelsea and Connor for months.
They returned bonded, and now that every time he looks her way, he sees Sharon hanging out with her ex-husband, Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow), Rey is retaliating — if only subconsciously — by spending even more time with Chelsea. Will that be the death of him? We could see it.
Bad Luck
Rey let Chelsea guilt him into going to Chicago for a hockey game with her and Connor — Conner just loves Rey SOOOOO much. What if Y&R spoilers reveal that they get into a car accident on the way there? Or what if Rey gets hit by a stray hockey puck?
Chelsea has fantasized about kissing Rey. What if she does it for real…and Sharon catches them? Sharon has been known to have murderous mood swings. Remember Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby)? If she goes after Rey for cheating…will it still be Chelsea’s fault? One thing we know for sure is that if Rey meets a murderous end, Chance (Conner Floyd) could be the one investigating his partner’s death. Think this wild speculation could really happen? Let us know in the comments section below.
