Y&R spoilers tease that it’s Victoria Newman Locke and Ashland Locke against the world as things heat up with Victor Newman’s investigation into his son-in-law. We speculate that things will get much worse for Victoria now that she’s taken Ashland on as her co-CEO at Newman Locke.
Y&R Spoilers Wild Speculation
Ashland (Robert Newman) just signed on the dotted line, achieving what seems to have been his goal all along — heading up the massive conglomerate that is Newman Enterprises combined with his own company. There’s just one tiny issue standing in his way…Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) daughter, Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Okay, that’s two issues.
We speculate that the Locke-Ness Monster will truly live up to his nickname now that he’s “in charge” at Newman-Locke. In order to truly rule the world (okay, the huge business), Ashland needs to get Victoria out of the way. Sure, we know he says she’s changed him because he loves her so much, but we’re not buying it. After all, how loving is it to constantly lie to your wife from day one? Not very.
No Time To Waste
Ashland knows that Victor is onto him, so he needs to kick his plan into motion, which means he’ll move quickly. We predict Y&R spoilers will tease that he has bugged Victoria’s portrait so that he’s aware of what’s happening even when he’s gone. He’ll use that information to gaslight her and make her feel like she’s going crazy. Once she, and everyone else, believes she’s lost her mind, Ashland will have Victoria committed to Fairview to “get better.”
Once she’s gone, he’ll have free reign at Newman Locke, and we wonder if he might even try to push the “Newman” part out completely. The Mustache certainly wouldn’t take something like that lying down.
We believe that Ashland’s machinations would bring Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Victor, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and perhaps even Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) riding to her rescue. While we wouldn’t expect much help for Victoria from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), he’d likely be pulled into it in some capacity too. With that many people after him, Ashland better watch his back!
