Y&R Spoilers Weekly Recap
This week was Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) big vow renewal. The day was gorgeous at the Abbott mansion, and things went off without a hitch — almost. Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) returned to Genoa City and landed right in the middle of the ceremony via helicopter, which didn’t earn him too many points, especially since Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) — the woman he’d hoped to impress — missed the big event due to being stuck in Paris. Oops.
He tried to give the happy couple a Bentley, but they refused. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) freaked out that Tucker might reveal their previous connection, but he promised he only wanted her to alert him to when Ashley arrived in town. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) visited with his one-time rival to put him on notice. It seemed everybody suspected that Tucker had ulterior motives for his return — namely, Chancellor-Winters going public.
Oh, and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) continued her downward spiral, and Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) opened his new club.
The Young and the Restless Week Ahead
The week ahead promises to be filled with drama. Tucker hopes to reconnect with Ashley when she finally gets to Genoa City, but don’t expect her to welcome him back with open arms — this is one ex-husband she’d just as soon stay in the past. Later, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will give his sister the third degree, and we suspect it’ll be about Tucker.
Plus, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) is pushed too far, and it’s likely Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) who will feel her wrath. Be on the lookout for some “fire” scenes. Finally, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) pushes Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to take a big risk in the boardroom, but will it backfire?
