Y&R spoilers weekly update for January 31 – February 4, 2022, tease the week ahead is full of great advice, an ultimatum, and another challenge for the new parents to overcome. Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in Genoa City!
Y&R Spoilers Weekly Recap
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is thrilled that he, Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) worked out how they’re going to share Dominic. Although Abby agreed, she’s still terribly sad about giving up her baby even if only for one night a week. While Abby wallowed, Devon and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) quickly realized that having a baby around isn’t as easy as they thought.
Victor changed his mind about not selling Newman Media to Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). But Victoria knows her dad well enough to realize Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) up to something.
Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) are happily engaged. They spend time telling everyone in their family how in love and excited they are. Everyone seems especially happy for them, everyone besides Noah Newman (Rory Gibson). He spends the week moping around and looking like a sad puppy because he still loves Tessa. Noah nearly confessed his true feelings to Tessa but chickened out at the last second.
The Young and the Restless Week Ahead
Since Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) seems to be the only counselor in all of Genoa City, she uses her knowledge and experience to lend some words of wisdom to Abby. The advice she doles out seems to work because Abby finds it in herself to search for common ground with Devon. Maybe Dominic being raised with three parents could work out in the end. Just as everything seems to be falling into place… watch for Abby and Chance Chancellor to be once again challenged as parents.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is stunned when Victoria shows up at Newman Media and announces that she is the new proud owner of the company. This is the last thing Adam wanted, and he feels like the rug just got pulled out from under him. Adam knows he’ll never be able to work for his sister because of their rivalry.
Adam storms over to the Newman Ranch to confront his father. The feud between Victor and Adam is heating up and expect things to only get worse from here. Victor gives Adam an ultimatum. Either suck it up and work for Victoria or leave. Tune in to see what Adam will decide.

Before Tessa and Mariah can move forward in a union together, they need to lay all of their cards on the table. Tessa takes an opportunity to come clean with Mariah… about what remains a mystery. Then watch for Noah to embark on an undertaking. We really hope this means he’s moving on from Tessa, and not trying harder to win her back.
