Y&R Spoilers Weekly Recap
This week featured Thanksgiving in Genoa City, and it was everything a Thanksgiving usually is — family filled with a side of drama. Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) told Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that her marriage to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) was on the rocks, and she backed out of their family gathering.
At the Abbotts, things got tense between Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) because of her constant sniping at Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Ultimately, Ashley ended up finding Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to further conspire with him against Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) returned-from-the-dead mother.
As for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she helped at Sharon Rosales’s (Sharon Case) annual meal, and she had lots to be thankful for — including Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) apologizing for his behavior. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) continued his support of Chelsea, much to Lily Winters’s (Christel Khalil) annoyance. Not so annoying to her, though, was Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) unexpected return.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) absolutely refused to forgive his traitorous cousin, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), and Tucker backed him up, which he didn’t really welcome. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) was pretty frustrated with the whole scene — especially Tucker’s role.
Finally, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) grew closer, so of course, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) proposed to Sally in a drunken moment.
The Young and the Restless Week Ahead
Coming up, you’ll see Devon finally coming clean to Lily about sleeping with Abby. She’ll finally understand why Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) left town so quickly. Later in the week, Victor does something a bit shocking — he gives his son Nick a fatal warning. Is it fatal in the literal or metaphorical sense? We suspect the latter.
Before the week is over, you’ll see Chelsea receive some comfort from her friends Billy and Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Be sure to check out the daily breakdown below.
