Y&R spoilers weekly update for January 2 – 6, 2023, tease that the week ahead is one woman facing a huge change and a man hoping for another chance. Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in Genoa City!
This week had the prodigal father — Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) — returning for the holiday and reconnecting with his son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), ex-wives Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), as well as Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc). He also got a job offer from Daniel to use his music on his new video game project.
Elsewhere, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) returned to Genoa City from the Abbott cabin and took on Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), refusing to cower away. Her brave efforts impressed Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and earned her a passionate kiss from him.
Things seemed to fall apart for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) as she wanted for them to take a break — even before they attempted to do couples therapy, which Billy had agreed to do. It threw Billy for a loop.
Coming up, look for Billy to seek out a second chance from Lily, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to realize she’s pregnant as she tries to figure out how she’s going to handle it, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) wait for life-changing news, and Danny finally sees Christine “Cricket” Williams (Lauralee Bell).
