Y&R Spoilers Weekly Update: A Glorious Wedding & A Surprising Crasher
Y&R spoilers weekly update for May 16 – 20, 2022, tease the week ahead is full of a big wedding that has a wedding crasher. Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in Genoa City!
This week, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) laid Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) to rest — off-screen — after she held an intimate memorial for him in Genoa City — off-screen. Also, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) finished up their wedding planning as the big day approached.
Elsewhere, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and the Abbotts asked Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to explain herself. Things got heated, and then amid all that, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) showed up. She ended up crying on Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) shoulder over her mother’s poor behavior.
Finally, Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) did indeed donate $250 million to New Hope in Rey’s name, which Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) begrudgingly accepted. He, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) tried to keep Ashland away from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). However, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) ended up concocting a plan to reunite his sister with the lying liar in hopes of taking over at Newman Enterprises.
You can expect to see all things Mariah and Tessa next week. These two finally get to say “I do,” and everything will be perfect — well mostly. Tessa does have a crisis and a special guest (who probably isn’t all that exciting) crashes the wedding. Look for Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) to be charming. Does that have anything to do with the wedding crasher?
Kyle has a big decision to make, and thankfully his wife, Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) is on hand to help him figure it out all. Speaking of figuring things out? Chloe Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) helps her mother Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) make a plan for finding love.
