Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) romance is moving at lightning speed and they’re ready for more. The dying man has every intention of making Victoria his blushing bride so she can soon be a grieving widow. Sounds great, right? She seems to think so. How will her parents react, though?
Y&R spoilers show Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is all about her daughter’s happiness. It’s an if-you-like-it-then-I-love-it kind of deal. What about Victoria’s dad? Will The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) approve of the union?
Gaining Daddy’s approval has never been an easy task. Most of Victoria’s suitors rub the powerhouse patriarch the wrong way. Ashland is a very rich man and can offer Victoria the world, well, for a few months, at least. Is that enough for Victor? It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B).
