Y&R Spoilers Video Preview

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has his best tux on, his wife Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is next to him wearing a gorgeous gown, and he’s predicting that the big gala she organized will be a huge smash. “This will be one of the most memorable evenings in Genoa City history,” he tells her, as he leans in for a kiss.

Jack (Peter Bergman) announces, “Everyone we know will be there,” as the camera then shows Nate (Sean Dominic) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) clinking champagne glasses, cameras flashing, and Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Adam (Mark Grossman) donning eye masks on the red carpet next to a stunning Sharon (Sharon Case).

But there are surprises in store! Removing her mask, it’s none other than famous author Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton), followed by Mamie (Veronica Redd) being welcomed with a hug from Ashley (Eileen Davidson), who tells her beloved friend and childhood confidente, “Boy, I’ve missed you.”

Next, an excited Nikki proclaims, “Let the party begin,” as she does a victory move with her arms in the air — and Victor follows suit, doing his own version of the same move — making a fist — as he backs her up saying, “Yes!” But not everyone is filled with the party spirit — at least not in a good way.

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is looking for payback, and she tells Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), “We’re going to make this the party they never forget. See it all for yourself in the promo below.

The Young and the Restless History

Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in.

From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) heart to the complicated love story of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.

Y&R: Bringing the Drama

More than 45 years of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this CBS daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. It was created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell and is currently written by Josh Griffith.
