Nikki Newman won't let Adam have his way this time.

“You’re trying to tear this family apart,” Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tells Adam (Mark Grossman), who appears genuinely stunned by her accusation. “Why would I want to do that?” Adam responds to his stepmother. Because, as Nikki simply replies: “That’s what you do.”
Nikki’s instincts are, as usual, spot on. Watch for Adam to confide in Sally (Courtney Hope): “I have a plan. And I’m real close to making it happen.”
Nikki may not know what Adam’s next move is, but she knows he’s got something up his sleeve, and she’s not going to stand for it. She won’t let Adam hurt Victor (Eric Braeden) again. “You have 24 hours to drop whatever scheme you’re plotting against Victor…or you will regret it for the rest of your miserable life,” promises Nikki as she puts Adam on notice.
