Y&R Spoilers Video Preview

The war between the Abbott siblings heats up when Billy (Jason Thompson) warns Jack (Peter Bergman) their sister is doing unsavory things. “Ashley may be planning a coup!” Jack does not take that news lightly.

He runs home to have it out with his sister. “If you have any intention of following through with your plans, you will fail miserably,” he warns her.

Ashley practically laughs in his face. “You’ve turned your back on everyone and everything in your life so you can fixate on being Diane’s hero,” she hits back. “But, it’s not going to end well.” And, she means it.

Jack and Diane (Susan Walters) can balk and roll their eyes all they want but Ashley means business. Jack better not underestimate just how far Ashley will go. See it all for yourself in the sneak peek video below.

The Young and the Restless History

Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in.

From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) heart to the complicated love story of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.

Y&R: Bringing the Drama

More than 45 years of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this CBS daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. It was created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell and is currently written by Josh Griffith.

The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. For an in-depth look at the show’s history, click here.
