Their daughter has died, and now Adam (Mark Grossman) has to break the unimaginable to Sally (Courtney Hope). “There was a complication,” he tries to say as gently as possible. But there isn’t any way he can share the awful news that will prepare Sally for the awful blow.
“Are you telling me that our little girl,” she tries to choke back the intense emotions that are brewing within as she manages to ask, “She’s not here?” She can’t bear to hear the answer to her own question.
“She didn’t make it,” Adam manages to say, though it’s obvious that every syllable is hard for him to get out. “And I’m so sorry,” he adds, as he’s wincing at the thought of even having to utter the words.
The action then cuts to Sally looking at the very few mementos she will ever have of her first child’s life. “I will always be your mom,” she says shakily. She holds something close to her heart and utters through tears, “I will never forget you.” See it all for yourself in the sneak peek video below.

From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) heart to the complicated love story of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.
