Victoria Newman got so carried away by her successful business meeting on The Young and the Restless, that she went ahead and kissed the successful businessman sitting across from her. She kissed Nate Hastings. Nate, for his part, politely pulled back. And politely pretended it had never happened. Victoria, politely, went on talking as if it has never happened. But it happened. We know it happened. Nate knows it happened. Victoria knows it happened. The only question left is: What will Victoria do about it?

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) admitted to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that she was lonely. She missed Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Victoria missed Billy so much that she fell for the sleazy charms – and lies – of Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). That ended very badly. So now Victoria is lonely again. And, this time, she isn’t going to sit around, waiting for fate to take a hand and lead her to a guy who is definitely bad for her. This time, Victoria is taking her destiny into her own hands.

This time, if Victoria wants Nate (Sean Dominic), she is going to go after him. Politeness be damned. Victoria was already engaged to Nate’s uncle, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). That relationship fell apart. Because Victoria was polite. Nate will be a different story.

Do you think she cares about Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy)? She will not. Do you think she will care about Audra Charles? She will not. We don’t even think Victoria would be intimidated by Imani Benedict (Leigh Ann Rose), should she ever find her way back into the picture.

Lots of women have gone after Nate. Nothing has worked out long-term so far. Victoria is here to change that. They dated when he first came to town. But he was a different man then. This time, she’s going to make sure it sticks.
