Y&R spoilers hint that Ashland Locke isn’t going down without a fight, and he has a worthy adversary in The Great Victor Newman. We predict that The Mustache will dig into his bag of tricks to help get Ashland away from Newman-Locke and Victoria Newman Locke.
Y&R Spoilers Speculation
It’s been a while since Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) faced punishment for embezzlement, which led Ashland (Robert Newman) to divorce her. That quicky divorce conveniently left Ashland free to romance a single Victoria (Amelia Heinle), resulting in a whirlwind romance that Victor (Eric Braeden) initially approved of, but Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) vehemently opposed.
Now, though, Victor is onto his son-in-law, and he wants the Locke Ness Monster out of the company he created. He found out that Ashland faked his cancer, and he’s bound and determined to handle the situation while saving Victoria’s reputation as much as he can.
Here Comes Tara
One person who likely has plenty of dirt on Ashland is his ex-wife, Tara. We predict that Y&R spoilers will soon show that Victor will pull some strings and get the mother of Harrison out of prison early for “good behavior.” Just what will her good behavior be, though? Spilling every single thing she can to Victor to help him bring down Ashland and get him away from his legacy and his oldest daughter.
While plenty of dirty details of Ashland’s past has already come to light, we presume there’s a whole mountain of dirt left to expose. Tara might just be the key to that, and we think Victor will use her as leverage against his no-good son-in-law. Whether or not it will work is anyone’s guess given that Ashland seems to have been a step or two ahead of Victor throughout their war.
Who knows– maybe Ashland dreamed up this plan with Tara while they were still married, and she never even embezzled anything. Stranger things have happened. What do you think? Do you think Tara will return to Genoa City soon? Should she? Let us know in the comments below.
