Will these Y&R Abbotts ever see eye-to-eye?
Traci instructed her family, especially Jack, and Ashley, to stop sniping at each other and be the children John Abbott would have wanted, but Y&R spoilers aren’t clear on whether her message stuck. They all agreed that Dad would have wanted them to be united rather than divided.
But that was hard, when Ashley hates Jack’s fiancee, Diane, and Jack hates Ashley’s fiance, Tucker. Also, Billy is just naturally snarky and hates almost everybody. Will they be able to put their differences aside?
Nope, 9% dismiss. Primarily because they don’t want to. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) enjoys hating Diane (Susan Walters). Jack (Peter Bergman) enjoys hating Tucker (Trevor St. John). Billy (Jason Thompson) enjoys being a pain in the ass. And nobody enjoys being lectured by Traci (Beth Maitland). Besides, she doesn’t even live in Genoa City. So how does she know what they’re doing when she isn’t around?
The Abbotts always pull together sooner or later, 45% recall. Usually when someone has a medical emergency, or there’s a holiday. And it will inevitably happen again. But first, they’re going to keep tossing barbs at each other. It may even take Jack and Diane actually tying the knot for the big blow-up that will be so brutal, it will scare them into better behavior. Or maybe some kind of accident with Harrison (Kellen Enriquez). Yeah, Harrison. Everybody seems to like him still.
Only a slightly larger total, 46%, are convinced that it better be something really, really big to reunite the feuding family. A wedding isn’t big enough. A medical crisis isn’t big enough. You’re thinking maybe an earthquake, where they’re all trapped together. Or a hurricane, where they’re all trapped together. Or, hey, maybe Jeremy (James Hyde) will come back from the dead and hold them all at gunpoint. In any case…big.
